Monthly meeting for the month of March has been moved from the  13th to 20th.

2007 MID VARSITY CHAMPION THE FAYETTVILLE BROWNS

On a beautiful Autumn Sunday the Browns Played their best game of football as that played the Scotland Broncos for the Mid Varsity Championship in Gettysburg. Browns demonstrated leadership as they played their hearts outs and the fans cheered them to victory.  Fayetteville was able to finish a wonderful season by WINNING the KYFCL Championship in the Mid Varsity division.

The Board of Directors would like to give special thanks to the Fayetteville Vol. Fire Department for their part in cheering the Browns by providing a Fire Truck to lead the Browns to their home field where fans awaited the arrival of the Browns singing and cheering on this Victorious Sunday.

Browns would like to thank all of the teams and fans that called and gave their concern for Tyrone who was taken to the hospital.  Through this demonstration of caring and thought throughout the KYFCL once again has shown the ability for all to come together during a time of concern.  Tyrone was fine and able to play in the Championship game and assist in the win over the Scotland Broncos.

Thank you for your concern and support.  Once again the Browns Board of Directors would like to thank all of players, coaches, and parents who made this season a success.

Message from KYFCL President

As the season progresses, I find the spirit in the KYFCL rises.  It is important, as wins become more valued to each team, that coaches and parents recognize the impact that their behavior has on their team and organization.

We, as coaches, parents and administrators of Youth Football and Cheerleading, must realize that we are setting the base line for sportsmanship and integrity in the sport for future generations. Football and cheerleading will evolve as sports of value only if we demonstrate how it can be played with integrity and professionalism.  I am keenly aware of how difficult this can be, but assure you of the need to display these values for the good of our youth football and cheerleading athletes.

The KYFCL asks for your dedicated commitment to fulfill these objectives.
